Enviromental Policy
As Furnova Kurk San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Sti, we are committed to contributing to
environmental protection by embracing the concept of "Sustainability". We
plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate our efforts to reduce the negative
environmental impacts arising from our environmental protection
activities. With this vision, we aim to continually renew ourselves and adopt
the following objectives:
Efficiently use natural resources (raw materials, energy, water, etc.) and reduce the amount of water and electricity consumed in relation to production across all areas of operation every year. Reduce waste generated during production, promote recycling, and ensure the reuse of materials. We aim to use recyclable materials to minimize the amount of waste generated by the materials used. Prevent environmental pollution (air, soil, water, noise) by ensuring the legal disposal of our waste through the Waste Management Plan. Ensure safe, healthy, and environmentally conscious working conditions through occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental committee meetings with the participation of employee representatives, aimed at achieving accident-free production. Increase the average training time per employee to meet the needs and expectations of our organization at all levels. Identify the environmental impacts and hazards of our operations, allocate resources to minimize or eliminate the identified risks, and work to reduce the probability and impact of these risks. Comply with all legal requirements and other obligations under current environmental legislation. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of our management systems and implement continuous improvements to ensure that applicable conditions are met and maintained. Engage in ongoing improvement activities to ensure high-level environmental performance. Identify risks related to environmental emergencies, conduct drills, and take the necessary preventive measures to eliminate hazards at the source. Raise awareness and foster development by providing employees with training on the Environmental Management System, laws and obligations, environmental aspects, the company's environmental activities, and waste management. Develop social responsibility projects, collaborate with public institutions, and support existing projects. Furnova Kurk is aware that the source of its operations is nature. For a livable environment, all necessary investments have been made to operate natural resources in a way that does not harm the ecological balance.
